Champion

During my childhood, I wondered about the purpose of my life. I tried to find the answer within my kind, pondering the purpose of human life. I started observing and searching for answers from other adults. I noticed that the majority of humans pursued a similar purpose known as the traditional dream. Most sought to find a partner and have children, giving them a role as parents and a purpose to raise their child into adulthood. However, I didn't understand the motive behind this traditional dream. Children were growing up with the concept that they needed to bring other children into the world to serve the same purpose. It felt like a cyclical scheme that didn't solve any problem. It made no sense to me. The world we live in has a stable civilization. Humanity ruled the planet and didn't need more children than it already had.

So, I searched through history and found a better reason. The world is constantly growing, which means it is continually changing, and so are its problems. The tribes needed younger souls to solve current and future problems that older minds could no longer predict due to their consolidated beliefs and inability to adapt to change. The tribes needed champions. They gave birth to children to mold them into problem solvers. That made sense to me.

The purpose of having children is not to fulfill a selfish need for a role or purpose. The purpose is to raise them into mature adults. To transform them from immature to mature. It is a responsibility. If done well, it will not be a curse but a blessing.
